Manufacturer of electronic equipment for telecommunications industry, for the Ministry of Defence and others.[1]

1964 Acquired by Ropner Holdings.[2]

1968 Acquired William Mills and Co (Sheffield), maker of industrial spades and garden tools.[3]

1987 Work on the Ptarmigan communications system came to an end, so the unit at Thame was closed. The company was being reorganised because of continued losses, particularly on defence contracts, so the business was being refocused on non-defence work.[4]

1988 Ropner Holdings sold the company to its management.[5]
