Arthur Ernest Deacon (1876-1933)

Arthur Ernest Deacon was born in 1876, and at the age of 14 he was apprenticed with J. Parr and Co, cycle manufacturers, of Leicester.

He then started in business as a cycle maker and agent in Llandudno, and in 1899 took up a partnership in the motor engineering firm of A. Deacon and Son.

He died on 15th March, 1933, at the age of 56.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution of Automobile Engineers in 1911.
