1890 Partnership dissolved. '...the undersigned, at 13, London-road, Clapton, London, under the style or firm of Ashton Brothers, Bicycle Makers and Repairers, and at 15, London-road, Clapton, at John Ashton and Sons, Brass and Cock Makers and Finishers, has this day been dissolved, by mutual consent, so far as regards John Ashton and Thomas Ashton. All debts will be paid by the continuing partners, David Ashton and George Thomas Bird...'[2]
