Makers of 'Climax' water tube boilers patented by Thomas F. Morrin of New Jersey, USA. These were vertical boilers, having a central water tube connected to and surrounded by loop-shaped projecting water tubes, all encased by a wrought iron shell lined with firebricks. The annular space formed the combustion chamber and flue. The boiler incorporated a feed heater and superheater
