1998 British Aerospace (BAe) acquired Siemens Plessey Electronic Systems; name changed to British Aerospace Defence Systems.

1998 Moved from Christchurch to Farnborough Aerospace Centre.

1998 Acquired the remaining 50 percent of BAeSEMA and in 1999 was integrated into Defence Systems.

2000 Name of Siemens Plessey Electronic Systems was changed to BAE Systems (Defence Systems)

2013 The principal activities of the company were design, manufacture and support of the Falcon mobile battlefield communications system for the British Army and the RAF.

2013 Development of Falcon was complete

2015 A upgrade of Falcon was undertaken

2019 The contracted work on Falcon was essentially complete

2021 The contract for Falcon was expected to end; at this point the company will operate as holding and leasing company.
