Apparently the Jeffrey Manufacturing Co of Columbus, Ohio acquired The Diamond Coal Cutter Company Ltd of Wakefield in 1926, and renamed it British Jeffrey-Diamond Limited

NCB gave licences for manufacture of the the Anderton shearer loader to Eickhoff, British Jeffrey Diamond and Anderson, Boyes and Co.

1961 Manufacturers of pulverisers, crushers and conveyors and coal face mining machinery. 1,300 employees.
