1937 Private company formed as Bryce Building and Construction Co

1941 Name changed to Bryce Electric Construction Co and business was restricted to manufacture and distribution of transformers, capacitors and meters.

1947 Hackbridge Cable Co acquired Bryce Electric Construction Co[1].

1961 Electrical engineers and manufacturers of "Bryce" power transformers, power capacitors and current limiting reactors. 250 employees.

1969 As result of GEC acquiring English Electric Co and AEI, Bryce Capacitors became part of GEC Transformers[2].
