1849 the Partnership between Cornelius Whitehouse, Edward Cudd, and Felix Webb, carrying on business at the Globe Patent Tube Works, Wednesbury Bridge, under the firm of C. Whitehouse and Co. was dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due would be paid by Edward Cudd and Felix Webb[1]
1851 "NOTICE is hereby given, that the firm of E. Whitehouse and Company, carrying on the trade or business of Gas Tube Manufacturers, at the Globe Tube Works, Wednesbury, Staffordshire, under that name or style, is composed of Felix Webb and Edward Cudd, and that Edward Whitehouse, of Wednesbury aforesaid, Book-keeper, was not nor is a partner, and has no share or interest whatever in the said trade or business, but was merely a Clerk to the said Felix Webb and Edward Cudd. And notice is also given, that the said Edward Whitehouse has left the service and employment of the said Felix Webb and Edward Cudd, and has no connection with them or with the said trade or business, and that the said Felix Webb and Edward Cudd will carry on the said trade or business, under the style or firm of Whitehouse and Co.—Dated the 6th day of June 1851." 1858 Dissolution of the Partnership between Felix Webb and Edward Cudd, carrying on the business of Tube Manufacturers at the Globe Tube Works at Wednesbury, under the styles or firms of C. Whitehouse and Co., and Webb and Cudd. The business would be carried on by Felix Webb alone.[3]
1877 EGM of Whitehouse and Co decided that the Company could not continue because of its liabilities; a liquidator was therefore appointed[4]
1882 John Spencer purchased the Globe Tube Works which was incorporated with his other works in the John Spencer company.
