Chapman and Furneaux of Gateshead-on-Tyne were locomotive builders.

1896 Took over the business of Black, Hawthorn and Co.

1902 The company ceased trading having built 70 locomotives. The goodwill was purchased by R. and W. Hawthorn, Leslie and Co.[1]
