CHARLES GEORGE HAMPSON died in August, 1908, after several months' illness.

He was for over seven years in the employment of the Lahmeyer Electrical Company, of New Oxford Street, London.

He was particularly identified with the introduction of electricity into mines, and in this connection was well known to many of the leading colliery managers in South Wales.

He was elected an Associate Member of the Institution in 1905.
