1948 Ciba acquired a majority interest in Aero Research Ltd

1958 Company renamed Ciba (A.R.L); Norman de Bruyne was managing director.

1962 Maker of Redux and Hidux aircraft adhesives and Aeroweb metal honeycomb material[1]

1970 The Bonded Structures Division was closely associated with the development of carbon fibre reinforced plastic; expansion of facilities had been achieved including at the subsidiary William Aske and Co of Halifax, specialist in foundry sand bonding media[2]
