1928 Company incorporated

1935 Coal Research Syndicate, Ltd., built a low temperature carbonisation pilot plant at Mansfield, consisting of two retorts - these were used for experimental work, with a view to extension in accordance with experience gained.[1]

1936 A report was issued by Director of Fuel Research on the results of a test carried out on one of the retorts of the plant.

1937 Sold rights to the the low temperature carbonisation process for making Rexco smokeless fuel to National Carbonising Co

1967 Company dissolved
