1972 Acquired Hydrovane Compressor Co and its related German company from Chloride[3]
1974 Change of group name to Compair[4]; principal subsidiaries were[5]:
- CompAir Industrial (previously Broom and Wade, and Reavell)
- Compair Maxam (previously Maxam Power and Hamilton Controllers)
- Compair Construction and Mining (previously Holman Brothers)
1974 Mr B. K. Holmes became a director of Compair Industrial.[6]
1974 Developed a rotary screw air compressor range marketed under the BroomWade RotorAir name.[7]
1985 Siebe acquired Compair.
2008 Gardner-Denver Co acquired Compair
