Aberystwyth Grammar School Training App. Williams and Metcalfe, Engrs., Aberystwyth; Forrester and Co., Mar. Engrs., Liverpool. Career: 6 years in Mercantile Marine; last 2 years as Chief; Royal Indian Mar., Engr. afloat " Canning," during annexation of Upper Burma; special appointment.
