Eugen Langen founded a new company for the construction of gas engines, the Deutz gas engine factory.

1907 Produced first tractor and motor plough

By 1931 the business was Humboldt-Deutzmotoren A.G.

The business later became the Kloeckner-Humboldt-Deutz (KHD). This became today's Deutz AG.
