A superb museum, which admirably reflects Tyneside's proud industrial and scientific heritage. Something for everyone here. The quantity and variety of fascinating exhibits should encourage many return visits. Housed in a fine old commercial building, whose atrium has a 'wow' factor provided by Charles Parsons' revolutionary 100 ft long 'Turbinia' . Smaller exhibits are well-displayed illuminated and clearly captioned.
