1951 Albert Sidney James Painter, of Pagham, and the company patented a liquid atomising spray devices

1954 'E. R. Howard Ltd., the Stowmarket manufacturers, have bought the old-established business of P. V. Teale and Co., of Bracknell. Howards are preparing to begin the manufacture the Teale products - lavender wax polish, lavender disinfectant and a window cleaner - at their Stowmarket works.'[1]
