East Yorkshire Motor Services Co

From Graces Guide

1926 the British Automobile Traction Co registered the name East Yorkshire Motor Services Ltd. to take over 2 existing operators: Lee and Beaulah and Hull and District Motor Services.[1]

Nationalised as part of the National Bus Co

1986 Incorporation of EYMS Ltd; East Yorkshire Motor Services Co was a subsidiary.

1987 Privatised

1987 The Darlington-based United Automobile Services's operations were split up, with its services in the Scarborough and Pickering areas of Yorkshire transferred to East Yorkshire Motor Services Co.[2]

2018 Acquired by Go-Ahead Group
