1908 Company founded.

1920 Private company.

1920 November. Shipbuilding, Engineering and Electrical Exhibition in Glasgow with air humidifying plant, water cooling and screening plant. the air filters are made by Cleworth, Wheal and Co.

1937 Power engineers and contractors.

1961 Electrical and mechanical engineers, specialising in quarry plant for road making. 100 employees.

1962 Acquired by John Wallace and Sons[1]
