1894 Obituary 
EDWARD ROBSON died on July 16, 1894, at Coatham, Redcar. In his time he took an active part in the development of the iron industry of Cleveland.
In connection with the Kirkleatham mine, which he leased, he founded the firm of Robson, Maynard & Company, by whom the Redcar Ironworks were built. He retired from the firm in 1880, and was latterly agent for various coal, iron, and limestone undertakings.
He was elected a member of the Institute in 1870.
