c1790 Founded as Showell and Barnes.
1820 As Edwin Showell and Sons, manufactured door springs and architectural brassware.
1902 The company was registered on 12 November, to acquire the business of manufacturers of general brassfoundry and art metal work of the firm of the same name. [1]
WWI. Produced 100,000 Enfield oilers for BSA rifles during the Great War (1914-1918).
1956 They were taken over by Josiah Parkes and Sons.
