1960 Elliott Automation acquired Isotope Developments (Beenham), a subsidiary of Isotope Developments in order to avoid duplication by both companies in the nucleonic instruments field. Isotope Developments changed its name to Nucleonic Investments Ltd[2]
1963 Elliott Automation acquired Baldwin Instrument Co, maker of nucleonic instruments for process control and fluid power equipment; Baldwin would complement existing Elliott businesses - Elliott Nucleonics and Isotope Developments[3]
1964 Formation of new management division in the group: Elliott-Automation Nucleonics.
1967 Baldwins and Isotope Developments were combined in one location at Beenham, Berks[4]
