Eskdale Mill

From Graces Guide

Boot, Eskdale, Holmrook, Cumbria, CA19 1TG.

Eskdale Mill is a wonderful example of at least mill from the 13th C. It is thought that it could date much further back even beyond Roman times. It is now a visitor attraction and boasts two working overshot water wheels, which were installed by Edward Hartley in the 1700s.
