1894 The similar businesses of Henry Pontifex and Sons (established in Shoe Lane in 1796) and Farringdon Works Ltd. were amalgamated; the present title was assumed.

1897 Name changed.

1914 Refrigerating engineers, brewers' engineers and coppersmiths. Specialities: ice-making, refrigerating and brewing machinery, copper work, pumps, sanitary goods and hydraulic machinery. Employees 250 to 400. [1]

1961 Brewers, food and chemical engineers, brass founders and coppersmiths. [2]
