1881 January. Advertisement for Joseph Fowell, Son and Co, Cromwell Iron Works.[4]

1886 Partnership dissolved. '... the Partnership heretofore existing between the undersigned, Joseph Fowell, George John Fowell, and Thomas Frederick Hunt, carrying on business as Agricultural Implement Makers and Engineers, at Saint Ives, in the county of Huntingdon", under the style or firm of Fowells and Hunt, has been dissolved, by mutual consent...'[5]

1898 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership lately subsisting between us the undersigned Joseph Fowell and George John Fowell as Engineers at Saint Ives in the county of Huntingdon under the firm of Joseph Fowell and Son has been dissolved by mutual consent...'[6]

1899 Joseph Fowell died and his son George John Fowell a year later in 1900.
