Francis Morgan (c. 1742–1802) of Baird's Works, St Petersburg

In 1792 Charles Baird joined forces with Francis Morgan, a British machinist who had been established in St Petersburg for over twenty years. In 1794 Baird married Morgan’s daughter and in 1802 inherited the business.[1]
