1916 Injured. 'Mr William Raikes Bell, manager of the garage in Foundry Lane occupied by the Dundee Motor Lorry Company, Limited, sustained serious injuries yesterday as the result of an explosion. Mr Bell was soldering hole in the petrol tank of a motor car when the explosion occurred, and he was struck on the head by a piece of the tank. He was removed with all expedition to the Royal Infirmary in the ambulance van, and was detained.'
