1873 July 5th. Born in Bath the son of William Montague Baillie and his wife Theodosia Gertrude

1911 Living at 18 Pelham Place, London: Granville Hugh Baillie (age 37 born Bath), Consulting Engineer - Electrical. With his wife Hilda Ina Baillie (age 11 born Italy - British subject). Three servants.[1]

1912 'Granville Hugh Baillie, consulting engineer, of 82 Victoria-street, 'Westminster, S.W., stated that was vice-chairman of the Technical Committee of the Royal Automobile Club, and member of the council of the Institution of Automobile Engineers.'[2]
