1873 Company founded - perhaps Maurice Gandy

1880 Private company.

1901 The company was registered on 28 June, as the Gandy Belt Manufacturing Co (1901), to take over the business and properties of almost similar title. [1]

1902 The name was changed to the Gandy Belt Manufacturing Co.

1927 Company was at Wheatland Works, Seacombe, Cheshire. Rebuilt the works here.[2]

c.1946 Name changed to Gandy Ltd[3]
