1861 Living at Wanstead: Geddie Pearse (age 64 born Devon), Retired Civil Engineer. With his wife Sarah and two visitors and one servant.[5]

1867 June 30th. Death of Sarah Pearse at her residence, Woodlands Cottage, Wanstead, widow of the late Geddie Pearse, C.E., age 61.[6]
