1851 Living at Sheldon Street, Paddington: Samuel Beaton (age 31 born Edmonton), Invalid Chair Manufacturer. With his wife Mary Beaton (age 33 born Aldergate) and their three children; Mary Ann Beaton (age 8 born St. Giles); Henry Beaton (age 3 born Paddington); and Samuel G. Beaton (age 1 born Paddington). One apprentice. One servant.[1]

1874 Married Ellen Griffin

1901 Living at 61 West Mill Road, Wandsworth: George Beaton (age 52 born London), Coach Joiner - Employer. With his wife Ellen Beaton (age 51 born Chipping Ongar) and their five children; Ellen H. Beaton (age 25 born Kentish Town); Dora Beaton (age 23 born Kentish Town); Bertha Beaton (age 21 born Kentish Town); George H. Beaton (age 19 born Kentish Town); and Elsie Beaton (age 13 born Kentish Town). Also his father Samuel Beaton (age 87 born Edmonton).[2]

1911 Living at 20 Gartmoor Gardens, Wimbledon Park: George Beaton (age 61 born Paddington), Motor Car Wind Shield Maker - Employer. With his wife Ellen Beaton (age 60 born Ongar) and their daughter Ellen Beaton (age 35 born St. Pancras). Married 36 years with five children.[3]
