1853 Letters Patent for "improvements in constructing and mooring Light Vessels, Buoys, and other similar Flashing Bodies," granted to George Herbert, of Sumner-hill, Dartford, for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.[1]

1866 Moved from Dartford to Kensington[3]

1866 A George Herbert, age 49, died in Kensington[4]
