1833 Born in Bradford, son of Titus Salt and his wife Caroline.

1859 George Salt, Saltaire, near Bradford, joined I. Mech. E.[1]

1861 George Salt 27, manufacturer, was in Hastings with his sisters Amelia Salt 25, Fanny Caroline Salt 20, Helen Salt 6, Ada Salt 6[2]

1866 Built a small steam yacht, 25 ft long, launched on the River Aire. The boiler and engine were built by Carrett, Marshall and Co of Leeds. 250 psi, 350 rpm.[3]

1871 Visiting Manchester, a manufacturer[4]

1913 Died in East Molesley[5]
