GEORGE TAYLOR, born on the 22nd December, 1879, was drowned in the Bay of Biscay on the 26th October, 1909.

He was employed as a bridge designer by Messrs. Andrew Handyside and Company, of Derby, with whom he had previously obtained his engineering training.

He was elected an Associate Member on the 4th December, 1906.
