HMS Suffolk

HMS Suffolk (55) was a County class heavy cruiser of the Royal Navy, and part of the Kent subclass. She was built by Portsmouth Dockyard, Portsmouth, UK, with the keel being laid down on 15 November 1924. She was launched on 16 March 1926, and commissioned on 25 June 1928.[1]

Her engines were constructed by the Parsons Marine Steam Turbine Co.[2]
