1923 Converted and opened as the Imperial Hotel. Margaret Pollard (wife of Norman Wallace Pollard) was the proprietor.

1924 Fire at the premises.[1]

1930 HQ of the Exeter Motor Club

1934 Mr. and Mrs. Norman Pollard, of the Imperial Hotel, Exeter.[3]

1935 Norman Pollard died.

Later owned by the Williams-Hawkes family
