1919 Formed as a private company, founded by John Ashworth Crabtree and continued by his son Jack Crabtree

1936 A public company, Crabtree Electrical Industries, was incorporated as a holding company for J. A. Crabtree and Co[1]

1937 Advert. Boots Pure Drug Co used Crabtree control gears in a number of their machines.
