1885 5 HP horizontal steam engine. Formerly drove machinery in mechanics' workshop of T. D. Whitfield and Sons of Oak Lea Mill, Bradford. On display at Bradford Industrial Museum (see photo).
1894 The building completely destroyed by fire. The 20 workmen escaped without harm. Mr. Clabour's house alongside was OK.[2]
1906 Horizontal single cylinder 40 HP steam engine, driving workshop machinery at Hearl, Heaton and Co., Crown Street Works, Liversedge. Photographed by George Watkins in 1966 [3]. Now preserved at Bradford Industrial Museum (see photo).
1917 A 10 HP J. B. Clabour horizontal engine was included in the dismantling sale at Victoria Chemical Works and Timber Yard, Clarence Road, Hunslet. [4]
1918 Partnership dissolved. '...the Partnership heretofore subsisting between us, the undersigned, James Arthur Clabour and John Bowling Clabour, carrying on business as Engineers at Guiseley, in the county of York, under the style or firm of J. B. CLABOUR," has been dissolved by mutual consent...'[5]
1923 A 50 HP J. B. Clabour horizontal engine was included in the sale of Chald Lane Colour Works, Wakefield [6]
1927 An engine by Clabour was included in the sale of equipment at Cantley Mill, near Doncaster.[7]
