1867 Established as independent business

1886 Hydraulic warehouse cranes, featuring an inclined jib which could be extended out of the warehouse [3]

1889 Variable power hydraulic apparatus. [4]

1899 Announce they are constructing an experimental car.[5]

1975 Designed their first quick-to-install and easy-to-use stairlifts[6] Stannah Lifts.

2011 Stannah Group is still a family run independent business
