James Alexander McKee (c1877-1959) of O. D. Cars and Fergus

1911 Residing at 83 South Parade, Ormeau, Belfast: James A. McKee (age 34 born Co. Derry). Motor Engineer manager. With his wife Annie and sons Robert A. (age 3) and John L. (age 1).[1]

1951 'An application by the police to take away the driving licence of James A. McKee (75), managing director of a motor company, of Whitewell road, Belfast, on the grounds of deafness....McKee was the first man to drive a motor-car in York Street, Belfast, and that he had made the car himself.'[2]

1959 May 25th. Died. 'James Alexander McKee. Whitewell Road, Belfast, co-inventor of the electric hare used in greyhound racing and founder of Dunmore Stadium. who died on May 25. 1959. aged 82 year.[3]

1962 Death of Annie, widow of James A. McKee. 102 Whitewell Road, Belfast.[4]
