With his wife Alice Stiff (age 48 born Padiham, Lancs.) and their five children; Edith Sarah Stiff (age 22 born Lambeth); Winifred H. Stiff (age 21 born Lambeth); James A. Stiff (age 19 born Lambeth); Harold H. Stiff (age 17 born Lambeth); and William F. Stiff (age 16 born Lambeth). Also a visitor. Three servants.[1]

1911 Living at 64 Melbury Gardens, Wimbledon: James Arthur Stiff (age 39 born Stockwell) Stoneware and Terracotta Manufacturer. With his wife Hannah May Stiff (age 37 born Shrewsbury) and the two daughters Barbara Mary Stiff (age 6 born Wimbledon) and Margaret Brenda Stiff (age 3 born Wimbledon). Two servants.[2]

1958 Died. Probate shows him as Rev. and granted to his widow Hannah May Stiff.
