1828 John Jennings Senior began brewing beer in the village of Lorton, between Keswick and Cockermouth.
1874 Jennings relocated his brewery to Cockermouth.
By 1887 The Jennings Brewery owned 16 licensed outlets, all in the Lake District.
2001 Sold the managed house operations.
2005 The Jennings Brewery became part of the Wolverhampton and Dudley Breweries.
