Jensen: Interceptor Cabriolet
JENSEN INTERCEPTOR CABRIOLET
c.1950 The second Jensen model is the two-door four or five-seat Interceptor Cabriolet. The low-slung body, in the modern style, is designed on efficient businesslike lines and obviously contributes not a little to the car's maximum speed of 105 m.p.h.
These cars, like the Jensen Saloons, are at present built in limited numbers, but are eagerly sought by the motoring connoisseur.
An interesting feature of the car's hand-operated hood is that it incorporates a large rigid Perspex panel at the rear. This is seen in the photograph reproduced below. Another unusual point is inclusion of air vents in the disc wheels.
