With his wife Sarah Fowell (age 45 born Cavenham) and eight children; George Fowell (age 19 born Thetford), Engine Fitter; Sarah Fowell (age 16 born Thetford); Joseph Fowell (age 14 born Thetford), Model Maker; Jane Fowell (age 13 born Thetford); Ellen Fowell (age 11 born Thetford); Harry Fowell (age 9 born Thetford); Elizabeth Fowell (age 7 born Thetford); and Hannah Fowell (age 3 born Thetford).[1]
