1864 Formed Clayton, Son and Co with his son Lawrence in Leeds.

1881 Boiler and gas holder maker, visiting Richard Hargreaves 59, farm bailiff and Lydia Hargreaves 61 in Bolton[4]

1883 Died in Leeds
