1947 In December Leyland announced a new range or trucks and buses originally designed for overseas markets.

*c1953 Image A member of the Road Haulage Association Tom Slawson transported coal (“nutty slack”) for Ellis and Everard, and bricks from the London Brick Company to Leicester on the return journey. He bought all his lorries from Ford and Slater.
