1854 Partnership change. '...the Partnership heretofore existing between us, as Bankers, in the city of Exeter, under the firm of Milford, Snow and Co., expires this day by effluxion of time. All outstanding accounts and dependencies will be liquidated by the undersigned Messrs. John Milford, Thomas Snow, Frederick Milford, and Thomas Maitland Snow, at the City Bank, Exeter, where the business will be continued as heretofore, under the firm of Milford, Snow, and Co. — City Bank, Exeter...'[1]

1899 '... Antony Hubert Gibbs, son of Mr. Antony Gibbs, of Tyntesfield, hear Bristol, will, as from the 1st day of October next, join the firm of Milford Snow and Co., carrying on business as Bankers, at the City Bank, Exeter...'[2]
