1961 Moorwood-Vulcan incorporated as a joint venture between Moorwood and Vulcan-Hart Corporation of USA to design and manufacture cooking and heating appliances using gas, oil or steam

1968 Davy and United Engineering Co acquired Brightside Foundry and Engineering Co.
