Presumably the business of William Hewitt Paul (1873-1934), flour miller, and James Roland Paul, corn miller, sons of Robert Stocker Paul

1941 The Birkenhead mill was destroyed in an air raid.

1945 Acquired by Spillers[1], which was presumably when they started milling for the Homepride brand
