1926 April. 'Recess Screws (1926), Ltd., has been registered with a nominal capital of £100,000 in £1 shares, namely, 25.000 preference and 75,000 ordinary. According to Jordan's Register, the company will acquire the assets of Recess Screws, Ltd., and certain plant and effects of the Kent Construction and Engineering Company, screw manufacturers. The registered office is Pier Approach-road, Gillingham. Kent. Recess Screws, which is being acquired, was registered in 1913, and Acquired patents for the United Kingdom relating to the Robertson recess head screw. For the two years to 1917 6 per cent. ordinary dividend was paid each time, and for 1918 and for 1919 10 per cent. As at 30 April. 1924, however, there was a debit of £58,391.'
